plug the IAT into it...

I had to extend the wire. was for a d17 though, dunno what sensors you have..

It woulda been plugged into the old intake arm

i think with your vtir, the iat is on intake manifold not on intake pipe.

But yes, IAT sensor is on the manifold, so that will need to be plugged. NOT WITH ELECTRICAL TAPE.

Can you take that rubber piece off? see what the hole is like underneath?
