ok lets get started !
tools needed : Pliers,Socket Wrench , and i used a special tie rod end removing tool which i got from supercheap auto for 30Bux
you also need a jack and jackstands .... Duh .
Loosen up lugs before jacking all the way
now once jacked up remove wheel or Wheel(s)
okay now lets get crackin
Remove pin with pliers
using a 17mm socket remove the castle nut
using a wrench / i think this was a 19mm loosen jam nut but not too much
Fun part starts here using the tool from supercheap gently use the fork bit and snug it up under the rubber and the bottom bit should force up ( you will notice it Pops out ) then twist tie rod end of while holding inner tie rod (Leave JAM Nut on! as it helps position it back on )
compare the product before installation to make sure everything is correct!
yup all good , now installation same as removal twist back on back to where your jam nut is count how many threads are visible for my ek it is 6! use a flat head and place in threads triple check this process as it helps for when you get alignment
pop it back in to place , tighten new castle nut on and look for the hole where the pin goes and just bend the pin outwards
tighten up the jam nut and thats it you just replaced a tie rod end!
put wheel back lower car and just do small and slow test drives around the street try to feel/listen to anything out of the ordinary if not your good to go Good luck!!!
