    CL9 Lowering in Perth?

    Hi guys,

Im thinking about getting coil overs and was thinking if i should DIY or get them installed? Im pretty mechanically minded but i have never touched the suspension before.

If i should get them installed can anyone suggest a place/person that can do them if i supply them? Im thinking of BC Racing BR coils.

Any suggestions or tips would be great!

i ended up having my coilovers installed instead of giving to a workshop with a help from a friend. There was only 1 part it seemed like a 2 person thing and thats to put a bit of pressure enough on the stock spring so it can be moved out.

You have already said your mechanically minded and im confident you can do it. <MAN>
1 extra hands would be good also.

As for places to get them installed try some of these places in no particular order.
As an approximation ive heard and had shocks and springs done for $50.00 per corner not from these guys as im interstate.
Of course pricing can vary from workshop to workshop

    Thanks for all that!

What coil overs did you go for yourself?

Ive done a bit of looking around and so far been shocked with a $800 install from ultratune and $2200 install and supply from Tech9.

DIY looks the go for me.

hey mate, I wouldn't pay to get them installed it is a rip off for 12 bolts off and on again. The important thing is to get a wheel alignment after. It should take about 3 hours.

here is the diy that I used to do it. http://www.tsxclub.com/forums/1st-ge...n-install.html

I have buddy club N+ for the CL9 also.

The only adjustment that will be made for the alignment afterwards will be a toe adjustmemt. Camber adjustment will only be changef if you fit cambet kits as well
