Yes the Price is ridiculous but i am just curious as i really don't have any idea when it comes to Importing and complying in Australia

As the car has been commercially released in Australia (FD2), yes not R, it can only be brought in as a personal import. Which means you need proof of ownership for 12 months while overseas in order to bring it in and register it.

Because the car is newer than 88', it would have to be comply to either by SEVS or Personal Import. SEVS as above is ruled out because if the car is not unique it can't be imported. Because they share the same chassis and engine [K20A are all the same to them] it is not unique.
