    CRV Cruise Control

    Hi everyone,

I have a 2002 CRV Sports manual transmission. My CRV comes without cruise control (was it an option?) and I want to change that soon.
Not sure if there's no cruise control because it's a manual transmission?... But can I remove a cruise control kit from another 2000 to 2006 CRV (Auto or manual?) and fit that, or should I only fit an after market cruise control?

Any help with this would be appreciated.

    Many thanks.

the complete kit involves alot of work and swapping.

additional accelerator cables, throttle body changes, cruise control switches and sensors, fuses, etc etc.

also i dont think its worth it especially if your car is manual.

but if your a baller then why not?

Thanks guys I really appreciate your help on this.
I actually only picked up this CRV on Friday. I got it really cheap but like everything cheap it has a number of issues (which I'll have the fun of fixing lol! ) so it's good to know I have some experts knowledge at hand ;-)

    Thanks again

Hi Neo7 what solution did you come up with as I have the same vehicle and the Cruise Control not working?

    I'm still alive lol!!

My son has my CRV now but I ended up fitting an aftermarket unit because it was too expensive to buy all the components from a car wreckers .... Sorry I couldn't help you.

    All the best.
