    Hi guys,

i have searched the forum but confusing abt the answer, just wonder:

Can DC2R 5stud conversion fit on my civic EK1 with D16Y1 SOHC engine?

Somebody said direct bolt on, but somebody also

Did this on my ek d16. Used all the parts from an aus spec dc2r (32mm driveshafts).

Btw if youre doing it on an ek you will need handbrake lines from an ek with rear discs as dc2r ones will be too short and will not work properly.

my 5 stud conversion was off a EK9, so thats 32mm drive shaft hub, which would be your d16
if you get a 5 stud conversion make sure its a EK9 one or a AUDM DC2R as the jap spec DC2R is 36mm
and if its DC2R, make sure you have EK hand brake lines as DC2R are longer

DC2R/EG handbrake cables are shorter, not longer than EK

    EK chassis longer wheelbase
