    Brake pedal tail light switch

Hey guys! so my tail lights didn't turn off when I turned off the car (eg civic) tonight.

After googling a few things, found out that the part that presses the tail light switch on the brake pedal broke. So for a quick fix, I used tape and a 5c coin to press the switch when the brake pedal is not push in or used.

My question is, where can I find the part that has broken off? Can it be easily bought from Supercheap/Autobahn? Will need to look at wreckers? Or is there another alternative that is more durable than a 5c coin?

Lastly, I'm not sure what the part looks like so is it easy to install? i"m assuming its a clip on by just looking at the brake pedal itself.

Let me know what you guys think!

    Thanks in advance!

congratulations, you've broken a brake stopper.

You can go to the wreckers and hopefully walk away with change from a $20 after buying the little rubber stopper, just glue the 5c coin on or look on eBay for a Honda Jazz one.

(I went with the jazz rubber on my EK, still twerks well)
