    CL9 NEW Tyres

    Hey guys,

I am trying to source the best pricing in getting some tyres for my CL9 (205/55/R16). I am not too fused about the brand as such, as long it is the generic kmart or bob jane tyres. I got to change all 4 tyres as they are near bold, or else I cant get my regos, even my spare is gone. Currently I have Michelin PP2 that costs me $180/tyre back in 12/2009, so they have lasted for 3ish years.

I have got a few in mind but unsure which ones are good and cheap. As I am a bit strapped on money at the moment, but I got to change tyres.

    • Kumho KH18 @ $110/tyre (All season)

    • GOODYEAR EAGLE NCT5 @ $120/tyre (superior in wet & dry, better fuel economy)

    • CONTINENTAL CONTICOMFORTCONTACT CC5 @ $121.50/tyre (low noice, fuel economy)

    • Dunlop SP Fast Response @ $125.1/tyre (low noice, fuel economy)

    • Goodyear Assurance Fuelmax @ $120.75/tyre (all season, fuel economy)

The above prices are what i have been quoted in Sydney region as of today, and the description is what I understand. So I may be wrong as I am not an expert at all.

Just wanna get some advice from anyone, as I got to get a set of 4 tyres soon due to rego expiring soon.

Thank you for any help/advice at all.

+1 for Kumho KU31. Had them on my DC5R.

Also, regardless of the pricing, take the best quote to Kmart Tyre & Auto. They should be able to beat or at least match the price.

Got KU31 in 215/45/17 from Kmart for $120 each mid last year.

Thanks for providing me the two links charliebrown

I will be getting the Kumho KU31 as well @ Tyrehouse in Castle Hill for $110/ea after I provided them with the above links and gave me a price beat of $5/each.

    Thanks everyone for your reply.
