    Ek1 Gli DBA Rotor

Does anyone know the DBA rotor model number that fits the EK1 (front)? SCA seems to have a pretty good deal here: http://catalogue.supercheapauto.com....urce=catalogue

the deal only applies to those listed rotors. according to dba catalogue, civic ek1 = dba 474 and 475.

if the deal states: xx% off ALL rotors ; it can also be applied to special orders unless T&C's say otherwise.

if you need rotors, they need to be ordered in. sca has discontinued the line for rotors and brakes for the civic. rotors and pads need to be custom ordered unless a previous customer fell through with their special order - then a store can put it on the shelf. just give a ring to all the stores nearby you and see if they have leftover rotors and pads.

note: if you need a rear-hub bearing assembly, the bondi store has one leftover on the shelf. protex pbk/ha 4013

Didn't know this. No wonder the parts guide were lacking some parts the last time I searched.

What are some decent place to get things such as Bendix standard Brakes/rotors for the EK civic? NSW btw

I might give Burson and mekong a try. What rotor is best suited towards the Bendix general CT brake pads? Bendix, RDA, DBA? Does anyone know a rough estimate of the cost for each brand?

bendix pads $70, RDA rotors $130-140 DBA rotors $180-200

just get the RDA rotors, its not like you are going to do anything else to this car apart from daily?

Been doing some searching on front rotors for Ek1 Hatch 98 and it came up with two models for RDA rotors:
    RDA470
    - Dimensions: 260mm x 23mm

    RDA 474
    - Dimensions: 262mm x 21mm

As I can see, one is wider while the other is thicker. Which is the better option? I'm assuming that they both fit the EK?

Also, for the DBA rotor which is better? dba 474 or 475?

@Honda, you do have the rear disc brakes correct? saying ek1 hatch 98 doesn't clarify it being the cxi or gli model

    assuming you have the GLI,
    dba 474 vs 475:: 474 = front , 475 = rear. can't say which is better lol

if you want better, both front474 and rear475, have slotted and drilled variants. from memory, these sell at approx $200 slotted up to $500 drilled each.

but as a daily driver, just get the cheapest one and make sure you bed them in good.
