2003 JAZZ VTI-S HID Bulb Replacement

    Guys

One of the aftermarket HID's has blown in my JAZZ

After spending half the day getting the little sucker out I now need to know what type Bulb I need to purchase?

It looking like you replace not only the bulb but the socket and cables as well..

The bulbs not removable, is this normal for HIDs?

    Thanks for the help

    Luke

i would of expected the the wires and adaptor to be disconnectable.

either get another HID kit, for a H4 globe or show us a picture of what u mean.

Yup you would need to buy just a HID H4 (H4-3) bulb set. Because HID kits are so cheap these days make sure you consider the following:

Where is seller is located? - Try and look for a AUS, preferably same suburb seller as they can do local warranty exchange for you.
Warranty? - Most offer 12 months warranty but some even offer 24 months, others do 'lifetime' but I don't know how long their ebay store will be open for...
Price? - Obviously you get what you pay for, Ive bought complete H4 sets for $50 shipped and the bulbs are different colours, waste of time sending it back etc etc.

Basically after 6 years of HIDs haha, just try find one that's local, has decent ebay rating and decent price/warranty. Most $100 full kits will blow after 1-2 years.

My very first HID kit finally died and that's from daily driving, HIDs on the market these days are almost the same and don't last as long.
