Buddy Club spec 3 + camshafts on b18c type r

hi guys i have a jdm b18c type r running on my eg. i also have a set of buddy club spec 3+ camshafts and valve train to drop in. However, I have done some research recently and some people in the forum says the spec 3+ are similar to the oem type r cams. But when i look at the cams' specs, I see an obvious difference on lift timing and duration etc.. So I am very confused about this, can anyone help giving any advice or suggestion whether i should drop them in or not?

    cheers!

I've got a b16a2 running b18c head with BC Spec 3 cams and it's extremely aggressive, especially vtec. Drop it in I say.

Those that think its similar to OEM Type-R can't be right...

    OEM Type-R
    Intake - 243° / 11.5mm
    Exhaust - 235° / 10.5mm

    Buddy Club Spec 3+
    Intake - 296° / 11.4mm
    Exhaust - 290° / 11.8mm

That's a big difference in cam specs...
