Can the k&n be used as sri and cai? Also would it be defectable to have the k&n?

^I know technically he is. Perhaps I should have just asked him to fashion me (and the OP) a "pod and a pipe" to fit my CL9. Would have been much easier hey? We would have saved like... a few hundred bucks, probably sacrificed quality, and then we could also be heroes and get butthurt at other retards that want to purchase a brand name CAI.

Most CAI's are exposed filters so they are defectable.

If you want to be safe get an icebox or someting.

Being a Euro they wont really pull you over and check under the hood!
But if your running on coilovers and rims the chances of them checking the engine bay is increased!

Im running on coils and rims (18's) and 20% tint and to this day i havent been pulled over (thank god)

I've never been pulled over- and even if I am pulled over, the chances they will check the under the hood are very slim- unless they heard me giving it a go or caught me speeding.

Mines lowered by an inch and a half, and has 19s. You dont hear the CAI unless you want to hear it i.e. when you floor it. Just commuting to work etc. at the speed limit and the speed of traffic- you dont hear anything.
