Haha alright sweet, ill grab the k&n whenever i get the money for it haha, do you use the hydro shield axispower or you run the k&n cai without it ?

Yep i use it. I also put K&N stickers on the pipe. The stickers should come with it. Looking at the stickers makes my 3 inch penor feel like 3.5 inches.

iv always been a CAI man and always bought Fujita (prefer the pod design over K+N and Injen)

but i have to say - i love the comptech icebox on my euro

i borrowed an injen style CAI from a freind to test out for a while before he sold it
reset the ecu to see how it would go ...
the engine note wasnt as good, car was sluggier, had less mid/low end and overall not as good
the only thing that was slightly better was a tiny bit of top end - but not enough to make up for the rest of the shortfalls

went back to the icebox a little suprised, reset the ecu and the car was heeps better again
much nicer engine note, massive torque spike in midrange, low end improved, whole rev range was smoother

i also tried dropping a k+n panel filter into the icebox and sealed the edges
same sort of experience as the CAI but not as bad - went back to the uni filter a happy man
