    eg b16a2 to ek1 HELP!!!

    hey im buying a b16a2 coming straight out of an eg as a complete package would i need to change anything for it to work in my ek1?

    Ek4 loom
    Ek4 Ecu
    Ek4 rear engine mount

    Everything else should bolt up

    depends if u wanna make it street legal. The B16a2 can't be older than the car

    What do i need to make it work
    I have engine gear box ek4 harness and ek4 ecu
    Do i need to change the loom or are there wats around it?

    depending what b16a2, most of them are obd2 i think. u would need a obd2 ecu and loom. unless ur a master electrician to work around it.
    EK uses different rear mount bracket. u need one of them too.
    Throttle cable ( i think )

    Nothing else i can remember unless ur car is auto. then ur screwed.

    But if ur buying that engine as a package..should come with all that lol.
    guess thats why theres cheap engine packages that has nothing in it.

    I agree better to use the ek4 harness should be plug and play.

    Then just grab a rear engine mounts from wreckers.
