    DC4 GSI replacement shocks

    Hey all,

I've recently acquired a 1997 Honda Integra GSI. The front shocks are shot (springs are fine) and need replacing. It has quite high km and I'm only keeping it so my sis can learn to drive manual. What would the most cost effective replacement be? I don't need it to be lowered or anything, the standard ride height is fine.

Do the shocks from DC2 VTI-R fit straight on and if so what sort of price would I be looking at to replace front and/or rear shocks?

Vtir will bolt on fine along with eg but not sure about ek, someone can confirm.

I've seen eg/dc2 shocks and springs go for $50-150 a set depending on condition and kms.
Visual inspection will give you an idea of its condition.

Thanks for that, any idea how much it will cost to have a mechanic install?

Dont waste your time with second hand shocks. Just get some kyb's for a couple of hundred and fit them up.

Fitting will be anywhere between $100-$200
