    S80 gearbox bolt question.

Hope this is the right area, just figured its an integra box so why not.

Are the two rear t bracket bolts bigger than the rest? The top t bracket bolt is fine. But when i tried fitting the two lower bolts, its like a sleeve of wizzard when i try using the normal 17mm head 10x1.25 thread bolt (just guessing specs based on head size). I didnt get any bolts with the new gearbox so im abit confused right now. Any help would be great. Below is a picture for illustration purposes.

    Cheers chris.

Found this, is this correct? Would be great if someone could confirm, my old box ran 17mm head bolts all round so i cant compare.

it would appear its an M14x67mm bolt. thread pitch is 1.25mm. above post is wrong.

also, you can't determine bolt sizes based off the size head...

it's still irrelevant. the size of the head differs between bolts which meet different bolt standards

you might not even be able to get this bolt other than from honda. M14 x 1.25 is a pretty fine pitch

yea 19mm head, they are bigger than the rest of bearbox bolts.
pitch thread is the same as other 17mm head gbox bolts.

The bolts which hold the gearbox to the engine are 17mm headed - the two rears that hold the lower bracket are 19mm headed WITH washers , and the upper bracket bolt is 17mm WITH washer.
D series has a 19mm upper bracket bolt
