    Have not heard any timing chain failure with the euro, but there are few stories regarding 308 (overseas) with chains breaking before 70k km

    Expensive. my euro was a fricken lemon untill 3k was poured in for mechanical repairs

    they stretch prematurely if it's been poorly maintained, seen quiet a few on GM sourced Alfa V6's
