    Question Stupid Question about buying auto k24a3 engine

    sorry for the stupid question, but im confused with some of the information I founded around the web.

    I want a k24a3 engine, and there is a lot for sale but most of them are auto.

    Just wondering if I just got the k24a3 engine does matter if I brought it manual or auto will it fit into a manual eg? cos im getting a jdm ITR gearbox for it.

    K24 accord motor with the dc5r gearbox is we're its at

    are the same

    best to use with jdm 6speed dc5r gearbox w/ lsd

    As you said you aked a stupid question, I'll answer with a stupid answer. If you buy an auto engine, don't forget you'll need a flywheel and clutch (and the bolts)

    Also consider a Type S box, less ITR taxation.

    Yep, just pop an LSD into it. Not a big job once the tranny is off.

    Buying an Auto Motor is a better choice in my view, auto is less trashed then manuals.

    As above no difference in the motors. Only real thing of note is that you will need the longer flywheel bolts for the manual when you put the flywheel on, the previous ones that held on the auto flex plate are too short.
