when the car returned from the painters , stripped all underbody and removed fuel tank all susspension arms.
the whole underbody was completely wire brushed and old sealer reomoved and re sealed and schutz underneath.
all my suspension arms were de bushioned and sandblasted and powdercoated black.
i then fitted a full powerflex bushion kit to all the arms and fitted 96 spec dc2 4x114 hubs with the 98 spec bigger brake callipers using a prelude discs.
a dc2 type r subframe was sent of to be painted in purple and when it returned i fitted the 98 spec dc2 steering rack to the vehicle!
i fitted the fuel tank with a walbro pump and fitted it to the car! thats the under side done!
after that i got dc2 spec wheels powerder coated in white wrapped them in apair of toyo proxes and fitted them up
i started to refit the window and put back in the dash reloactiong the fuse box and brake pipes under the dash also. i got the dash flocked like the wrc spec cars and put in my sir jdm clock.
i fitted up my dash dodger cage also and bolted it in
i ran all the wires for the lights fans horn inside the valace of the car not to spoil the flushed and tucked look
next up was the engine, which i treated to a fully rebuild using acl race bearings, new chain ,tensioner ,rings, head gasket and all other bits needed, i then fitted my twm 52 mm itbs and ac p/s relocation kit and enameled the engine in silver. next was the gearbox which i stripped and checked for any syncro damage which was fine so i fitted a spoon 5.78 final drive and also treated the engine to a lightend fly and a exceedy paddle clutch.
