B18c7 engine in a EM1 speedo flickers

Hey guys, I've just brought an Em1 with a b18c7 engine in it and the speedo flickers a lot when engine is warm after a 20 minute drive.. Anyone ever had this problem before? Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section, first time posting.

take off the speed sensor clip and blow it out - might have some coolant or other crud stuck in there and shorting out when hot.

I tried cleaning it already.. But I'll give it another try and let you know how I go. Thanks.

I cleaned the sensor and changed the cluster and it still didn't fix the problem... Anybody else know what to do..?

try swapping the VSS with a known working one ( off another DC2 / EK4 / DC4 etc) and see if that helps.

It should isolate the issue to either a problem with the VSS or the wiring back to the cluster
