Unhappy my del sol wont start :(

hey guys jst wonderin what youse think is wrong with my crx.

    its a b16a2...

bout 3 weeks ago i put wollies premium 95 in my car (had no choice, had no fuel and no other fuel stations close enough had 98 or 95 except wollies)

i put like 20 bucks in, car wouldnt start for like 10 mins...

got it started, drove for 10 mins or so and it cut off... few mins later turned back on...

parked it, and it was 10 min on, 10 mins off so i went n put 98 shell in and fixed the issue..

so today i put 50 bucks in from a no-named fuel station(my fault, didnt wanna pay $1.81 for 98 at shell so went to this place for cheaper)

drove it home fine, and now wont start at all...

im guessing fuel pump needs replacing..

    what youse think?

ive changed the fuel filter in the engine bay a few months ago so should still be fine...

p.s anyone have a clue where/how to get it out? i dunno if i gotta drop the tank or get it from above, or if its in the boot or behind the seats??

i think you yourself are clue'd up on realising that due to possible contaminated fuel the poor Sol dont start no more.
I think i read an article in the Sydney morning herald sometime back about this be careful man.

As for dropping the tank and inspecting everything you maybe able to avoid that if there is a drain plug on the fuel tank itself.

as mentioned above check your tank for contamination since you noticed the issue directly after filling up.

also check your main PGMFI relay

yeah i would agree with the containment from the tank, it could have clogged the fuel filter, might need to change that..
OR cycle the key on and off could be air in the fuel lines

    ^ AGREED.

Pretty typical symptoms for the fuel pump relay failing.

Where did you get the dodgy petrol?

To be honest I wouldn't even bother using Shell (or United, or Castrol) if you have BP or 7 Eleven (IE Mobil) available.
