    [CL9] Boot Lip

Hey guys, was just wondering if anyone has ever bought this boot lip from this seller before? Scared it might not fit on nicely

    Hey deuces
Yes I did purchase a boot lip and from that guy as well!

From my experience it fits on well and looks great. I am happy with the product.

For the picky people, from side on and up close and I mean up close you will see a small raised gap from the 2 row of double sided tape.

The lip will come straight as a ruler but the boot is actually curved. So you will need to bend/heat to get the right curve fit.
I did mine on a warm/hot day and used the reflective heat to bend it into shape. Difficulty is not that hard to bend into shape.

You will need steady hand and coordination when applying the tape to get it in one go.

Will get pics if you want to see.

I would recommend it. It's cheap and looks sweet!

I have one too from same guy, looks decent but I got it mostly to help see the rear of the car when reversing (no sensors on mine). Get someone to help you install it if possible or use lots of masking tape to hold it in place.

    Here you go.

Pics show what it looks like, curving/bending needed and the tiny gap from the tape.
Don't mind the tip of the lip it's just dirt/dust making it look scratched.

I didn't used masking tape, not sure why you need it.
Just need your eyes and steady hand

hey noobies, you can not stretch the spoiler a little bit more? as it seem like from both side its missing abit, 1/2 of a cm. i recently brought mine from spoiler king on ebay, if you heat it up apparently you can stretch it. 1/2 of an inch

    Didn't think to stretch it
Not sure if it would wreak the lip if improperly stretched

But anyways that's what you get from different sellers there isn't a set standard they meet.
