    Unhappy Headlight HID Kit

Has anybody bought one of these http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/230669817...84.m1439.l2649 it says to drill a 25mm hole in the back of the lamp unit. Are there any that you don't have to do that?

Correcto. Why would you get HID high beams for?

Also FYI: HB3/4 bulbs do not have those covers that require drilling.

HID are useless for main beam since they are not instant on.

This means you can not quickly flash your mainbeams

Why do you want HIDs in your High Beams? You dont always drive with them on and if anything happens and you need to flash your lights
at the vehicle infront of you. You have to wait for it to warm up to take effect.

If you want something nice maybe invest in fog lights?

Don't forget that 'flashing' HIDs will cause them to fail prematurely...

if your up to the task and have the technical know how what6 not add proper LED bulbs and i am note talking about those $5 H1 bulbs from ebay.
I am talking about the bulbs that are in those 20w LED floodlight's

you will need to remove the lens of the head light, install the LED which is mounted on a heatsink and a good one at that which is powered by a good LED driver
