    Dose anybody know what this is ?

    Hey , so i bought an eg civic last week with a b16 . I was just wondering if someone could tell me what this is .

    Iv worked the red light flashes when my throttle is engaged but also when i turn my lights on it also flashes with that ?

    If it helps the car was converted from auto to manual

    Yeah car starts fine . Why would someone put it their for ?

    Not sure man.

    Thats what it looks like to me and with the information given then it could be... it may be disabled :O not sure man, need more information.

    Is this causing a problem or you just want to know?
    SOHC just kicked in YO!

    would the white round knob be the sensitivity setting? i thought the shock sensor was usually located somewhere in the engine bay.

    Alarm shock sensor its usually under the dash or kick panel.

    yeah it is a sensor for the alarm if your really annoyed by that just pull out the fuse of the alarm so the whole alarm system will be off.. if you just like to off your alarm.. if you don't have the remote for the alarm i reckon just turn it off pull the fuse off so you wouldn't be annoyed by that...
    and i got nothing but time....

    Its not causing any problems i was just interested of what it could be haha. Yeah the white screw has a (+) (-) .

    the car is fitted with a full alarm system so that could make sense . Its just weird how the red light flashes to throttle use .

    its only flashing because its sensing movement. if the alarm system is working just tuck it up somewhere out of sight.
