Your ECU is going into limbo/safe mode. this has detected an increase amount of boost pressure. Meaning that there is a huge amount of A/F ratio required (probably running rich/lean too) and your knock sensor has also detected pinging. This is the reason why your getting black smoke everywhere and the engine cuts out ...
Long term Overall status = ENGINE WILL CEASE.
as from everyone said - get your ecu reflashed/or replace with after market.
When I increase the boost to around ~16 pound and the weather is cold the car will occasionally not fire and loose power then pick up and lose again, dumping big clouds of black smoke - unburnt fuel.
But when its a hot day it is silky smooth. Any ideas what is causing this?
Thanks.
