    Dc2 Integra transmission Fluid

I recently went into my local auto one to get some new transmission fluid for my 1997 dc2 Integra VTI-R ( Manual ) and i was recommended Castrol ATF Dex III transmission and power steering Fluid. The only problem i have with this is the transmission fluid is for automatics... Would it be okay for me to use this transmission fluid for my gearbox? ( Stock B18c2 gearbox)

    Mate

Use any manual transmission fluid- just read the container. Automatic fluid is not compatible with manual and vice versa.

IMO use genuine honda transmission fluid , and genuine honda power steering fluid

Not all engine oil will work.... What is recommended is usually 10-30...

OEM is good but I usually use and recommend CASTROL Syntrax 75-90...
You can use although any brand that is GL-4 or GL-5 . These are usually 75-90 or 75-85 .

75W80 gear oil is what Honda recommends for OEM spec.

    Penrite sell a semi-synthetic 75W80 for under $30 in a 2.5L bottle.

If you track the car or give it a hard time, 75W85 is always a good choice.

Ben there are cars that specify ATF DX3 for manual transmissions, just not with a Honda :P
