i have an 06 ap2. owned a 2000 model just before this one aswell. honestly the ap1s are wayyyyyy more responsive on the low end. however the rest of the car feels more solid and tight in the 06. the vsa really does its job on keeping traction. the dbw takes abit to get use to imo. I honestly prefer the cable more because dbw feels like it lags too much. all in all, the refined gearbox and diff is something that can be felt. love both, each have their advantages but for me, id prefer the ap2 to have cable and i reckon itb b a much more fun car.
What does the first half of your Vin number say if u don't mind me asking.... And if u can get under it... The number on the little plate under the gearbox??
