    Thanks but no thanks.

The Civic is not as 'clean' as I want it to be.

The shitty paint job is fading.
Have a few marks, dents, paint cracks.

This arrived from The Nerthalands last week:

Anybody know what it is? Pretty sure the shape of it gives it away.

    - Paid in full and ordered my new coilovers. Coming by sea freight. Should be here in February. I shall reveal them then! =P

    Bad news
    .

I definitely know that I blew my head gasket yesterday. The engine has been almost unable to turnover during this week or two. So yesterday, I drove for 25 minutes, parked the car, tried to start it up again to move it a bit foward, tried many times, wouldn't start. I came back in like 30 minutes or so, and it still wouldn't start, so I clutch kicked and it started. From then on, the idle was low, around 500rpm, engine lost power and the exhaust made this boiling-water like noise with quite a-lot of white smoke.
Had to drive like this back home. I am not driving my Civic for a while...

No service history. Now at 207,000kms. Even though if this problem is as simple as changing the head gasket, I would like to do a rebuild, a Super D build.

Currently on my red Ps. Not K20/K24 build just yet as I still have a fair way to go till my Fulls. So the question is...

    D16a8/ZC Super D build

    or

    B18c7 swap.

    ???

some luck you've had with this car!!

i'd say find something decent and use it as a daily, then go for the big build once you're a bit 1) older and 2) richer

or, if you're already ballin, get an engine build started now, source bits, rebuild/recondition thewhole thing before swapping it in a couple of years time

H swap cheapest and most powerful option (except J which you wont find manual box in the country).

    I ain't telling you!
I can live without a car. There's public transport.

Willing spend $4-5K including Hondata and tuning. Will DIY most of the work with mates, the rest to the machinists.
Wait, just did a quick search, I think swapping to B18c7 only cost like 5 grand for all the parts?

I deserve it. I left the Civic sitting on the street for around 1 an 3/4 years. But I was just about to do a major service on it...

Curtis, ultimately, of course I want to go K series.

What I would like now on my Ps is to build my version of the 'Super D'. It is inevitable now with burning oil and blown gasket, I need a rebuild.

    Wow. Such fast. Much inspiration.

This is what I would like my Civic to be like, but even better. A ITR, S2000, and even a R35 Killer! And it's just lightly modded!
