    Clang noise under car.

Hey Guys, need your help on this.
Do you guys have this problem where after driving the car and then parking it, say in the garage. I tend to hear this clang noise under the car??
I can understand the car is cooling down, but does this 'clang' noise under the car (at least I think it is coming from there) cause any mischief to the engine or the car in any way???
It does kind of sound loud at times, along with some clicking after the engine is turned off.

    Is this normal???

    Thanks
    Paul

If you wanna get rid of it, removing the heat shields from around the exhaust manifold, und underneath the car surrounding the cat, and catback piping gets rid of most of it. Although removing lets the heat radiate from exhaust through into your car. Which may damage somthing, but doubt it.

It is just funny because I never really use to hear ths noise until recently.
Just had to check with you guys if it could be a problem, but if you guys say it is normal, then I guess there is no need to worry.
    Cool.....

Sometimes it's the aircon water, but mostly it's the contraction of metal through heat loss....
