Ok, i went for a drive a few nights ago, car felt fine. Gave it bit of a floggin, heard a noise like a bolt or spring fell out of my car. didnt think much of it.
went to go out for another drive later that night and my car wouldn't go into gear, reverse-nah, 1st- nah, 2nd- nah ect
I can put the car in gear when its off no dramers at all, but if the car is running it will not go into gear, the revs just kinda drop abit and the car wants to lurch forward. If i start car with clutch in and in gear the car will start moving unless i have the brake on.
I bought a brand new oem honda clutch master cylinder, bleed it 4 fuking times just to make sure its not air in the system problem. the slave is not leaking though it does make a bit of a creaking noise.
The slave does move at least an inch when clutch is pushed in so i know the slave is doing its job.
From what i've read the spring/s have fallen out of my pressure plate.
i have a competition clutch stage 2.
It did shudder on tae off ever since i've had it (about 2 years, second hand)
Also, i recently changed my sump, after i took off my inspection plate i seen what looked to be a tinny bit of a spring..?
I know, all of this seems to be pressure plate related- this would be a massive pain in the ass for me atm.
SSSOOO- any one have input before i take this box out?
Oh btw- after i bled it, i can go for a drive and it'll feel fine for a bit, if i let it sit over night i'll come back to it the next day and it'll be the same 'wont go into gear' scenario
weird as fuk.
appreciate any input!
