    Hi,
    I need to change rear diff oil and was wondering if anybody can recommend a place where to buy it in Sydney (Balmain area).
    Thanks.

    i know it sounds like a cheeky response but for diff/gearbox fluids OEM honda is a good choice. penrite are also doing some good ones

    I get mine from Mekong spares but they are abit far from Balmain.

    For Honda transmissions stick to OEM Honda fluids. There are more issues with other fluids especially with the transmissions.
    You hear of Honda boxes and diffs going 99% of the time they are using other non-Honda fluids.
    Engine oil not an issue, use the best you can afford

    OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer..

    in this case, the equipment being the diff oil and therefore manufacturer being Honda.

    Seriously though - GO to Honda for this. Not many things go wrong in CRV's but this is one of them. I know penrite is good oil (I use it) but for gear and diff oil always use honda in hondas. If there is alread a whining or noise from the diff I hope it isn't too far gone.

    Good luck OP
