    2.5" or 3" exhaust

wouldn't bother raising the redline much

the ECU should be a preference of your tuner not people on the internet

i wouldn't expect much of a power gain either

Find yourself a good tuner and work with them on the setup and ECU choice.

You can use an adaptor and make do F2B meaning using a Bseries gearbox , which I would recommend as there are a lot of parts that I can supply to you to be used with any set up . Also from my understanding you are making the Mini RWD but are you installing the engine at the rear or with a mainshaft etc. ?! This will determine also the exhaust ! Size , length etc.
