How to remove 1998 head-unit?

I have a Pioneer head-unit and My AUX Cable has stuffed up so I want to replace it.
I'm guessing I need to remove the head-unit to be able to connect a new cable in the back. Can anyone guide me on how to remove the head-unit or if there is an easier way?

Do I need those special tools to remove the head-unit?

put your hand under the head unit and wriggle it around get a flat head screw drive and put it in the sides around the head unit try pushing in any metal tabs with the flat head then it should pop right out there's no screws holding it just work your way slowly

You will probably need to remove center console and middle console to be able to get to screws to bring the cd player out properly. Do you have Integra service manual?
