    u kill me man...
u worri bout the smallest silliest things....lol

if the throttle cable having a 180 degree bend in it was no good, u think they would leave it in the EK CXI, GLI, VTI'R & Type R???

just because its in a different cosmetic shell, they concept, design and physical work it does is the same...

the dc2r had to be a lil different so they made it 4kms long to look fancy...lol

All the other cars have the cable entering from the other side. It's the type r manifold design that made them make it enter from the other side. No oem honda has the throttle cable bending on such an angle, I'll prob do it anyway just until I get my itb because it looks stupid at the moment

    wat u talking out...

every ek civic model has the short throttle cable running along the firewall and a 180 deg turn towards the throttle body...

all ek civic's regardless of engine run a high mount type r style inlet manifold...

thats run above the runners and bent well beyond the how the oem cable is bent, ran for about 2 years like that no problems.

Well to be honest I never considered the firewall option lol, all the ones I've seen are going under, but the firewall is a much better option. If you guys read my first post properly you would have seen I said under the intake manifold, which would result in a really sharp bend in the cable, much more so than the oem firewall route. Is ek4 the only cable I can use? Anybody got one for sale?
