    99 Accord - Model Codes - Suspension

What is the model code for a 99 accord 4cyl? I just got one and the shocks need replacing.
What other accord models fit or otherwise? (Ie JDM / USDM etc) Also after model codes for these alternate models so I can search that way.

    Cheers

Your chassis code is cg6. 6th gen US Accord
Japanese got the CF1, which became our euro
Pretty sure the difference between the v6 and 4cyl is the front shocks due to the weight of the v6 compared to the 4 cyl
    Hope that hepls

    By the way
What shocks need relacing? front or rear?

I need front mainly but rear too if price is right or I can find a good second hand set.

Was searching yahoo JP but nothing comes up searching the above codes, hence asking what JDM model codes are that fit my aussie one.

    Nop
    No way, totally different
USDM accords are ugly, overweight, handle and look like a boat compared to JDM spcs

    The gth gen accord
Was divided into two platforms a first for the accord
    CF - jdm model
the cf would eventually become our euro (cl9)

    AND

CG - USDM/AUS/NZ model would eventually be our (cm) our 7th gen accord

So you see the split between the euro and normal accord happening from the 6th gen
Some parts are interchangable but their chassis are pretty much different
