    Lightbulb B20/b18b question

Hey guys I'm Nate, first time poster... Long time honda lover!
Does anyone know if the b20b8(crv) accessories I.e. Ac, power steering pump ect.
Are fully compatible with a b18b1(dc4 integra gsi)
I'll be buying a b20b8 next month to start playing around with to transplant into my 98 dc4 gsi...
It's gonna be in the teg for maybe 12 months, because I'll be rebuilding the b18b1 for turbo application for 2015!
I know the b20b8 isn't the ultimate motor, but I don't want to go the typical vtec route.
I'm wanting to be different.. And I know the b20 head isn't that good, so I'll most probably have the head ported and polished by a mph who specialised in Honda heads..

    Welcome mate.

If the only purpose of getting the B20 is to serve as an interim motor, why not just leave your car as is. Buy another B18B and build that instead...

Will save the hassles of swapping motors and hooking up the B20...

Im still un decided on weather I want to build a turbo b18, or to have fun with the b20b8..
I do believe that the b20 is a direct bolt in?
I thought the only difference was the ecu? Everything else is a direct bolt on!

Straight swap more or less, but yeah it's a crap motor.

The only reason people use them is to put a VTEC head on it, so if you're against VTEC then I don't see why you're bothering.

Grab another B18B2, rebuild it, then swap later.

You'll be wasting hundreds of $$$ or more to go porting a B20 head for essentially nothing. It's not just the ports that suck, it's the combustion chambers, camshaft profiles, lack of VTEC, valvetrain isn't sporty either. It's a dud engine pretty much. Only the block is worth keeping for a frank-build. WOTAM otherwise.
