What Changed In The DC2 between 1996 and the 1998-2001 Models?

Hey guys looking to buy my first DC2 VTIr Integra (non type r) soon and there are some appearance mods I'd like to do to it. I'd just like to know what really changed between these 2 models?
Thanks For the Help if you'd like to see what I'm planning on doing this is it, Mainly just the Bumper Splitters, The Type R skirts and the Mugen Style wing. Would this work on the 1996 model or does it need to be the 98 or above.
Sorry if this question is stupid.

Some changes include facelifted headlights, front & rear bumpers on the 98+ models.

You'll need a facelift rear bumper (98+) to fit those rear pods, but you can easily find the bumper and fit it to your 96 model.

Hey DTN How much would a facelift bumper set me back? is it worth paying the extra for a 1998 model just for the facelift front and rear bumpers. Or would a 96 be fine and then buy the parts

    I have a Integra VTI-R 1997 model

    If I were you I would get a 98 + model

    Why?

You'll end up modding it up to a later looking model anyway.

For an example I've purchased :
    -rear tail lights
    - both doors
    -front bar
    -2 guards
    -Bonnet
    -headlights
    -recaro seats from type R
    - rear type R seats

    All adds up dude

    Word of advice.

The prices on some of the VTiR's, quiet unreasonable (5-8k).

Spend the extra now and get the type R (9-14k).

Cleaner you want it the more it will set you back.

As mentioned above, his already spend enough for him to have owned a type R from the start.

If your after the looks and not into the VTEC craze, DC4 might be a cheaper option.

    Kids these days.

Money an issue? I don't think you will be hitting that Vtec very often.

Not tryna be a dick. True story. You vtir will go from say 9L/100km to 16L/100KM.

Good luck in your find man. From what I've seen on the market FL models aren't cheap.

"I've been in your shoes". Wanting VTEC is why i settled for eg when I was 17.
