Really nice built....Wish you all the best .... LOVE THE COLOUR !!!!!

But to be honest , I would take a second thought on what Chez00 said about PPG ( I am not saying that GForce isn't good) but in my eyes and my personal experience PPG is one of the best ....

    My opinion...
If this is a street car, juat keep a stock gearbox...
Dog boxes are a bit of a "dog" to.drive on the street...

Prob beta off having a couple of spare oem.boxes...

The key to a box holding together is how solid.mounted the engine and box.is...
The less movement/twist, the less chance of it breaking

All true. As IEVAQ8 says, case flex (leading to shaft separation) with the torque levels you're talking is the issue. A bearing cuff will help but obviously you lose 5th (most options won't leave 5th except PPG).

The reason why some of the above mentioned gear sets are stronger than standard, apart from metallurgy is because they do not force the shafts apart because of the profile of the tooth - they are either semi-helical or straight cut. The standard helical cut forces the shafts apart, and is quite steep on the 4.78 pinion.

apparently these guys do a 3.42:1 FD, don't know what they are like though: http://www.watsonsrally.co.uk/html/price_list.html

Good chassis reinforcement is definitely key.
