    Civic fd sport. Vtec?

    Anyone with an fd2 have a vtec crossover? Just bought one and there's no crossover ;(

    There won't be. However I have boost cross over haha

    i think the civic sport has the low end k20 compared to dc5r/ep3r

    it's more like the base model dc5
    Dc2r and em1 only good if you work at McDonald's, s2k good for order food in McDonald's

    I thought the sport had the R20 which has i-vtec which does a reverse VTEC.

    FD2 is the 2006-2011 with the k20z2 pos.

    I think VTEC is at a low 4500 RPM, but all it does is change it from 3 valve operation to 4 valve. No high lift cam here....... You could always hook up a relay to the VTEC solenoid so that your headunit plays an mp3 of this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QXDNxkUiUws) when you pass 4500 RPM.

    And press the accelerator half way until then, and then full after 4500rpm for that vtec feel
