    Prelude bearings rattling.

    Hello all,
I'm in need of some advice.
I have a 5th gen prelude 160,000km. I have always been on top of servicing and have kept the car in very good condition. On my last service they mentioned that they can hear a bearing rattling around- possibly a crank shaft bearing. They said it would be more feasible to replace the engine rather than rebuild it. The power steering pump has also started rattling (unrelated problem I believe)

    Here's a video:

I'm thinking of selling it to buy a bigger car. Should I get it rebuilt and sell it for a bit more? Or get it replaced..
Does anyone know someone that would be interested in this work in Brisbane?
If you could point me to any other forums or sites that I could find parts, it would be much appreciated.

    Hey there
    Who serviced your car?
From the looks of things it doesn't sound bad
Rev the car to 2k rpms and listen carefully for a 'knock' or 'thud'
I'd be more worried about burning/using oil more than a supposed 'bearing rattle'
And if the car has never given you any trouble, don't worry about it
