Oops, yes. I got confused with the naming. Anything that looks like JDM Accord/CDM Spirior in the past now looks like the JDM Inspire/CDM Accord (which is the Thai Accord), indicating that the Accord Euro is not available and has not yet been redesigned for 2014/2015.

Oh well, I'm waiting for the new Civic Type R anyway.
"Spirior" is a corruption of the Latin word "Superior".

I've squeezed into the current European Civic upon which the Type R is based. It's too cramped for me.

Given that they sell so many in the USA, you'd expect that they would have some influence on the World market. BTW, just an observation, you sound like a Yank! Welcome visitor.

I was looking forward to an updated Accord Euro, the TLX looks nice. Even the new Accords have a nicer styling compared to the previous models, if only they came with the US transmission options and standard features.

I spoke face to face with a Honda Australia exec visiting the North yesterday. He said that they have no information on whether there will be a new Euro but they haven't ruled it out and they hope that there will be because of previous sales history in Australia.

It sounds to me that they have little control over what they sell in Australia...

Loved the posts on Page 1, No American made hondas were sold in Aus, just lol.

Many American developed Honda's have been sold in Australia. EM1 for example.

Maybe not many full american honda's have not been sold here, but a few modern Honda's have their power plants developed in the Americas.

I would like Australia to catch up on technology. fashion, entertainment but the sad fact is we are a 3rd world country with 1st world wants and expectations. Meh as long as our $ stays strong, we can get anything we want.

The MDX (Canada) was the closest thing that we got to a North American Honda.
