you could tune it for more power in the lower end and a lower vtec crossover point. cost you barely anything, and will increase your lower or midrange power a noticeable amount, but will take from your top end.

If you check prelude Australia forums, one of the members got his apexi neo tuned to have his vtec come on at 4300rpm, which he said his powerband was much more linear
However if you want a massive kick, ecu tune and bolt on mods will be fine
I found that mine kicked that little bit harder with nice flowing exhaust and intake
Options are limited - MFactory have 4.6 and 5.2 FD up from 4.2 standard. Either would work nicely but if you're gonna do it... I'd go 5.2. Prices are on their website, I'd imagine about $800-$1000 delivered depending on which option you go for, talk to the forum sponsor I guess. I rebuild these boxes with all bearings and seals (genuine) for $950. Could be less if you just do a dodgy swap without checking everything else out, cleaning etc.
