    D16Y5 idle and CEL

G'day guys, in the past week my CEL was on because I didn't connect the CKF sensor, and I've wired it up yesterday and the faulty code was gone. I though its all gone and no problem at all.. Then I drove out yesterday and found another problems... I step on the brake and loose and repeat, the rpm will go up to almost 2000.. Then it will drop to like 300 or so and came back to 700.. Today I drove out and the rpm is keep staying at around 1500 and won't go down.... And the seconde problem is the CEL on again either rev up to 6000+ or gently drove to over 80km/h... The weird thing is when I parked the car aside and jump the ECU in the hope of get the faulty code, nothing shown up, when I turn off the car and started up again, cel gone until next 80km/h or 6000+rpm... I am currently looking at the Haynes manual but couldn't find any relevant... Anyone have ideas? Thanks heaps guys

There is also FICV ( fast idle control valve ) which is located near the IACV.

    Could try cleaning that aswell.

Still using a USDM ECU ?

Fuel maps in the US are different to ours due to their altitude difference.
