    Power windows for my cxi

    Hey guys,
I've got a cxi and have asked for a quote from two different companies on them installing a power windows conversion kit, both quoted $650 for the kit, installation and both offer to come to you, just wanted to get peoples thoughts if you think its worth the money? and is it a reasonable price? I know the kits sell on ebay but I'd be too worried of stuffing it up im not very mechanically hands on.

Pretty steep for just power windows.

I've done this in a CXI - I think the total cost was $230 just for parts out of a GLi @ Wreckers. We also replaced few other wiring while we were at it.

Heres a Link to a DIY- Don't have to be a full blown technician to do this.

Power windows conversion is quite simple, the main thing you need to make sure is that you get all of the loom from inside the doors. Once you have done that, connect the drivers side and passenger side looms together, run power to the drivers door and you are done!
