Cool Honda Civic FD Horn "Upgrade"

So I've been wondering what will be next for my civic. So after searching 8thcivic, I decided why not a cheap and easy mod like a horn "upgrade" .

What you need is a LOW tone Honda Accord (8th gen) horn. I found my set at the wreckers for $10. Note the Accords have 2 separate horns, a high and low, make sure you get the low one before you leave! It will tell you at the back of the horn. I took both anyway just to compare.

It takes about 20mins all up. 19min to remove and put the bumper back on - I broke a clip so take your time =[ -, and 1min to replace the stock horn. I tried the high tone horn, but it sounds ridiculously crap vs stock.

    Comparison shot of the horns

TIP: When installing ensure the horn is facing down! This ensures if any water/debris were to enter the horn, it's more likely to fall back out. This reduces the chance for the horn to fail over time.

Finally, before and after: (excuse the terrible videos)

    BEFORE

    AFTER

The stock horn on the FK/FN sounds weak and girly.

And there are only 2 horns on the civics.

The Low and High, the other one may before the alarm system.
