I use the Liqui Moly 10W-40 you mentioned in your OP.
It's reasonably priced and goes really well. I use it in my Corolla Sportivo though.
I do my changes every 5000km though since I rev out my car every now and then.

Not sure how much weight this claim carries but the guy at autobarn stated that LiquiMoly is one of the few companies that carry fully synthetic oil, as in, 100% synthetic. Other brands which claim they are fully synthetic only need a rating of 50% synthetic oil to be able to slap the 'fully synthetic' label on. Whether this is true or not, I've already bought another bottle of it for my next oil change (Y)

Nope, whether an oil can be called "full synthetic" or not depends on the type of basestock used.

There are 5 groups of base stocks, 1 to 5.

In Australia, group 3 base stock or higher is considered synthetic.

Purchased from Turbo Auto Spares Cabramatta NSW. I just had a look at the old one thats an SJ rating and the Ultra is SM also the Ultra that I purchased is a 10w30 not a 5w30. They both have the SM rating though.

So I am at my 110k service and all I have to say is that the Liqui Moly super leichtlauf 10w-40 is pretty decent but I did notice an increase in fuel consumption. At the moment the oil level is about half way down the dip stick after topping it up 800ml’s. In the last 10000 km I did travel to Canberra and back to Sydney, not sure if that is excessive. Has anyone out there used Honda’s LEO 0w-20 and seen any positive results?

Tempted to try one of these:
Fuchs TITAN SYN SN SAE 0W-20 specs API SN & ILSAC GF-5
Fuchs TITAN SYN SN SAE 10W-30 specs API SN & ILSAC GF-5 Fuchs do a 10W-40 specs API SN/CF & ACEA A3/B3/B4 also.
    Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w30
    Pennzoil Platinum 5w30
Mobil 1 5W-30 NEW VEHICLE FORMULA
    Nulon Full Synthetic 5W-20

LOL again has anyone had any experience with these. TBH I have used penrite before and not huge fan of it.

If you want to head down the direction of a 0winter oil
    Why not try Penrite HPR0 - 0w-30
Penrite also do a 0w-16 now too

Going from a 40 to 30 will increase fuel economy
Going from a 30 to a 20 will increase it even more at probably the cost of engine longevitiy
0w/5w - 30 will be good ALL year around
