    Brake Upgrade Kits?

Hey guys, having trouble finding information on hooking up my Euro with better front brakes.

I'd like her to stop quick, like my dc2r, but having a look around for an hour or so, all I can really find is some overpriced Spoon callipers. Is there not anyone around in Sydney, who wont charge many thousands?

I'm happy to pay like 2000 for the whole lot, but much more than that seems like robbery.

    Cheers.

    look at "Acura TSX" BBK
Mrgu on the from here has 330mm with 4 piston calipers, and 302mm rear rotor upgrade.

Stdnrd here (sleeping performance) sells ATS BBK for the CL9

Ceika Performance online sells custom built BBK's

PS: BBK doesnt actually reduce breaking distance, physics doesn't work that way, it will give better braking performance tho.

How do BBK's work - do they just give more surface area to stop the brakes? I read that the stock 4 piston brakes on an IS350 has the same breaking distance as the $3k optional big break kit o.o

buy the best street tires u can afford and more aggresive pads maybe? "bbk" is useless if youre on ling longs.

    wider tyres (more contact patch)
tyres with good longitudinal grip (not to be confused with lateral grip)
    Weight/mass reduction

those reduce braking distance, BBK does something different, it makes sure your braking force is maintained after repeated use:
ie: when the rotors and pads heat up, they lose efficiency.
