so today I picked up a clean lil civic for $200 runs a lil rough but sounds like it needs a good service and a good tune I want to keep the standed motor in there but get some where around the 130kw with out turbo or motor swap and help would be good as this is my first ever Honda

That carby d15b only makes 72kw at the flywheel so 130 is a huge increase

it is possible but would be a ridiculous waste of money and not really suitable for daily driving, more a race engine

a cheaper easier option is put in a efi d16y from a slightly newer civic with approx. 96kw stock

it bolts in and the engines are cheap as chips like $150-300 plus a few bits to convert to efi

Unless you have a lot of cash to blow, its not worth it, for the price to get it at that stage, youre better off with a B-swap

    Looks nice!

Even 130hp is hard to pull out from your D15. Theres no hate, just being realistic.

Good luck and keep the updates coming
