Angry My 2006 euro lux written off :(

So my wife was driving the euro a few weeks back, when some moron in a tarago decided to try and beat traffic into a side road, and swerved across her. Head on smack at around 60kmh and the tarago was on its side.

At least now we know the car wasn't one affected by the airbag recall, as all front and curtain airbags went off. Few minor bruises and very shaken, but so far (touch wood) no long term ill effects.

Car went to the salvage auction last week, no idea how much it sold for - insurance company offered to sell the wreck to me for $2500 but not really a fixer-upper since it's a stat writeoff. Such a shame as the car was immaculate... well except for the sh!thouse honda milano pink paint.

And just to finish off, testing my luck here I know, but is anyone interested in swapping their (auto) 06+ euro lux for my manual 2003 wrx (in victoria?) Wife wants another euro and pushing me to sell my weekend car

nope, already picked up a cx5 grand touring few days ago to replace the euro - ironic i optioned it with a towbar, for future towing of my wrx when i strip it out. I've had plenty of hondas in the last 18 years but I gotta say mazda is killing honda in terms of design and interiors nowadays. anyway will be on the lookout for probably a cu2 lux as there's plenty on the market - saw a 2010 cu2 lux nav going for 15k with slightly high km, but still a bit of a bargain!

Haven't actually driven a CU2 yet - objectively, how much longer/wider/heavier is it? If it's significant then my wife won't want to drive it.

    According to redbook
The cu2 is almost 150kgs heavier
    cu2 is almost 10cm longer
    cu2 is almost 8cm wider
And the cu2 only puts out an extra 8kw and 8nm of torque
