Difference between Phoenix Yellow and Sunlight Yellow?

They both have the same colour code Y-56, but I recently resprayed my front bumper and I asked the paint guy for Phoenix Yellow Y-56 because that is what my car was resprayed, but they said the only colour they had was Sunlight Yellow which was also Y-56, he said they were the same colour, however after respraying the bumper they are completely different colours, could it be that the respray was done in 2k but my bumper was done in acrylic?

Looks a fair bit off.

When I went to get nighthawk paint, they showed me like 4 different variations off that 1 single paint code.
Supposedly Honda used different variations depending on year and model.
So maybe check that out.

They should be able to colour match the paint, not just use the factory code. It looks incredibly lazy work and the fit on the panels is ****ing terrible.

I resprayed it myself, the bumper is just sitting there it isn't bolted up, could it be the original respray has faded a bit?

undercoat color could make a difference also i believe.

That could be it, the original colour was maroon, but I've just painted over light grey primer, I might just have to fork out the $350 to get it done professionally...

Or spray the whole car at home with that paint. But both will cost around the same.

Plus you get fresh paint on your car.
